Uoh provides two courses - MA Economics and MA Financial Economics.
General Economics has many optional subjects to choose from and it is more theoretical in nature whereas in Financial Economics we can't choose and we have to take all the financial and mathematical subjects compulsorily.
The pattern of the paper is different from other universities. You should concentrate more on Economics and current affairs and less on the mathematical part.
So I would suggest you go through the previous year's questions at least once.
I'm sharing the answer key here :
Also, there are few topics like 'Karl Marx theory of surplus value' that are asked in the paper many times. This might be a new topic for many of you but is important if you are planning to give uoh. Just watch the video given below and try to understand the concept behind this theory and the formulas.
Trust me, cracking Uoh entrance is way much easier than JNU, DSE, IGIDR, etc. The faculty is very helpful and experienced, the placement cell is also very active and the campus is really really awesome.
